DESIGNERS’ NOTES

Chair by Timothée Mion for La Chance. The silhouette takes its form from the "pause" symbol: two parallel vertical bars in solid steel define the frame, with cylindrical solid ash armrests and an upholstered seat. Each chair is upholstered to order by artisans in Italy.

TIMOTHÉE MION

Timothée Mion is a French designer, based in Paris.

In 2014, he graduated with a bachelor's degree from Central Saint Martins in London. He then trained with designers such as Barber & Osgerby and major houses like Hermès. He later developed his universe during a master's degree at ECAL in Switzerland, which he obtained in 2020.

In 2016, he received the Design Guild Mark award for design excellence in the British furniture industry.

He approaches design with a global vision, creating bridges between objects, fashion, and scenography. His practice aims to bring a new perspective to current issues, always in search of a pure, intuitive, and lasting result.
